A fun detail that deserves its own moment. ✨

This stunning floral clutch was the perfect finishing touch, picking up the delicate textures of Rebekah’s dress while adding the softest touch of colour. A beautiful reminder that bridal accessories can be every bit as memorable as the gown itself.

Sharing a few more previews from Daisy (AuburnPanda❤️🐼) and Luke’s (Luke Turner) magical Hobbiton wedding ✨

This time, from our wander together around Hobbiton after the ceremony. We had our own private guided tour, stopping to explore hobbit holes, specially crafted details and take in the rolling green hills.

While we explored, their guests were treated to a private guided tour of their own, complete with a maypole! It was such a fun way for everyone to experience Hobbiton and fully embrace the magic of the day.

Every part of this wedding felt thoughtful, immersive and completely true to Daisy and Luke. There are still so many more moments I would love to share 🤍

A few more highlights from the Christchurch Wedding Expo 2026!

There was so much happening throughout the day - from complimentary ice creams and delicious cake samples, to the stunning displays created by the talented team at Something Borrowed, Something New. Every corner of the expo was filled with inspiration for couples planning their celebrations.

A big thank you to Morgan at Elysium Planning and Events and everyone involved for bringing it all together, and to the many incredible vendors who helped make the day such a success.

I wish I had time to capture and share all of the wonderful businesses that came together, please come find me next year if you missed out and you’d like to have photos! The full gallery has now been delivered to vendors!

What an incredible day! It was such an honour to both attend and capture the 2026 Christchurch Wedding Expo!

It was such a pleasure meeting so many lovely couples and hearing about the celebrations they are planning - everything from intimate backyard weddings to large-scale events, with wedding dates ranging from just a few months away right through to 2029.

One of the things I love most about wedding photography is that no two weddings are ever the same, and this expo was a wonderful reminder of that. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, entered the giveaway, or stepped in front of my camera throughout the day.

To all of the amazing vendors who helped bring the event to life: thank you! It is such a good feeling getting to work alongside so many committed and talented people ✨

A huge thank you to Morgan and the team for creating such a fantastic event. I already can’t wait for the next one!

It’s been such a special season getting to know Ettiene and Jelleke as they prepare to welcome a new little one and celebrate their wedding, all within the next year. What an exciting chapter of life to be documenting ❤️

My 2025/2026 wedding season has just come to a close 🥹😭 I’m feeling so grateful for all of the lovely couples I’ve been privileged to work with! Thank you to each and every one of you for inviting me to capture your wedding. It really means so much to me.

This last season has been brimming with truly emotional vows, amazing people from all over the world, the wildest weather, and so many beautiful moments I’m still looking forward to sharing.

I’m also looking forward to slowing down a little over the next few weeks - reflecting on the season, working on wedding albums, and making space for a few special sessions 🥰

Continuing on with Daisy and Luke’s absolutely magical Hobbiton wedding ✨

After sharing their first look, I had to share a few previews from their wedding ceremony in the Handfast Glade - easily one of the most unique ceremony locations I’ve photographed.

Tucked between a vege patch and a lake, with the rolling green hills surrounding them, it genuinely felt like stepping into Middle-earth. One of my favourite things about this wedding was how fully everyone embraced it.

Please, please someone invite me to capture another Hobbiton wedding - this was honestly a dream 🤍 So many more moments I would love to share from this incredible day.

Could this be the sweetest first look in Middle-earth 🥹

Luke & Daisy travelled all the way to Hobbiton to bring their own fantasy love story to life - and it truly felt like stepping straight into Middle-earth for the day 🤍

From the flower crowns and medieval-inspired details to Luke’s incredible handmade cloak and Daisy’s gorgeous dress complete with flowing cape sleeves, every part of this wedding was filled with whimsy, magic and gorgeous details. Their guests fully committed to the theme, the Green Dragon Inn was glowing, and even a piwakawaka appeared to take in their first look.

These are just a few moments from their morning - I cannot wait to share more from this completely magical, Lord of the Rings inspired day ✨
