I also capture arts and live events—always drawn to fleeting, honest moments. I’m an amateur landscape photographer living close to the beautiful Otago Peninsula in Dunedin, New Zealand. My passion is landscape photography, which is taking me to beautiful places at the most beautiful times of the day. I shoot my photos with passion to tell my unique story of nature. It was such a pleasure to talk with Brenda Harwood about my experience photographing the 14th World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden.

What an extraordinary few weeks — music, people, cultures and so many wonderful moments. I came home jet-lagged, but very happy! 😊📷🎶

Thank you, Brenda, for capturing the experience so beautifully — and to INTERKULTUR and all the wonderful choirs who made it so special.

A special mention to United Auckland Gospel Choir and their fantastic Gold Medal! 🥇🇳🇿

🌱 Welcome to 1 September — the first day of spring in Ōtepoti Dunedin!

Although spring has officially arrived, Flagstaff wasn’t quite ready to give up winter just yet… ❄️ A dusting of snow at dusk made for a beautiful start to the new season.

Spring in Dunedin — you never quite know what you’re going to get! 🌿🏔️

A wee bit fresh this morning :)

A photodrop from my final day in Copenhagen, 20 August. Too good not to be shared and enjoyed! 🇩🇰 Copenhagen really is a special city — beautiful, vibrant, full of history and so much character. A wonderful way to finish my time in Denmark.

Such a privilege to have been there to photograph the United Auckland Gospel Choir at the World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden. Their performances were incredibly powerful, and it’s wonderful to see their achievement celebrated in this national Te Ao Māori News story.

I’m especially grateful that my photographs could help bring their energy and emotion to life for those who weren’t there to experience it in person. Congratulations to the whole choir on an outstanding achievement — GOLD! 🥇🎶🇳🇿

The United Auckland Gospel Choir has cemented its place among the world’s leading choirs after winning gold at the 2026 World Choir Games in Sweden.

After literally travelling around the world — around 38 hours of travel time one direction from Dunedin, Christchurch, Singapore, Copenhagen and Helsingborg and back again after three weeks — I can finally draw the curtain on the 2026 World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden! 🌍🎶

I thoroughly enjoyed not only photographing the events, but also listening to choirs from around the world. One of my absolute favourites was the Peace Concert, with such a powerful message for our divided world: come together and sing rather than make war. 🕊️🎶

My sincere thanks to INTERKULTUR and especially Henriette Brockmann, Marketing Manager, for making this incredible opportunity possible for me.

What a marketing team — working day and night to share the wonderful message of choir singing with the rest of the world. Your passion and dedication are truly inspiring.

This was without doubt one of the highlights of my 2026 celebrating with a few of my favourite shots at the 2026 World Choir Games❤️

Bring on the World Choir Games 2027! 🎶🌍
