Hiya all, Good News! We have fresh stock of Kodak KodaColor 200, UltraMax 400 in 35mm, PLUS now on the shelf KodaColor 100 in 35mm, and Kodak Gold 200 in 120 Roll Film!
However, after sitting on a previous price rise, we have had to put a small increase on these. KodaColor 200 and 100 are now $28.90 a 36exp roll, and UltraMax 400 is now $31.90 for a 36exp roll.
Kodak Gold 200 in the 120 roll film, $24.90 per roll
Oh and the UltraMax is now in the new retro packaging too!

Hmm Interesting conversation being had currently on a forum i am part of..
How do you store your digital images?
use the Like if you fill a card and never use it again and file it away
use the love emoji if you back up to the cloud
use the Care if you back to an external Drive
use the laugh emoji if you leave them on your computer
Use the WOW emoji if you leave it in the hands of the digital gods and dont do any backing up

Well now, for those who have seen Christopher Nolan's latest IMAX epic the Odyssey, here is an interesting article over on dpreview about the Modded Pentax 67 he used to compose and block shots before he called for action and commit to the film usage.

Shooting in a specialized format requires specialized tools.

An interesting article on dpreview about how the current crop of compact cameras are not infact compact... I take their opinion and raise the Ricoh GR series, but it does have a fixed focal length lens rather than the zooms of others.
However, i am currently sourcing power packs and chargers for a couple of older compacts that i have in my personal collection, and yip, smaller cameras like a Canon Ixus would be most welcome

It's well known that I am a fan of Micro 4/3 here, It is a shame that while many lens makers initially signed up to the micro 4/3 protocols, not many actually make a lot of lenses. Sure there are companies that build some very nice Manual Focus lenses for the system, but not many make AF lenses...
Maybe this will change soon as it seems Viltrox are about to drop something

Wellll this is interesting, the non interchangable lens revival is happening. Sony have announced the new DSC-RX10V, 1" 20mp sensor, 25x Carl Zeiss Vario lens (24-600mm equiv) dual Bionz X processors, 4K /120p video and a whoooole lot more..
ETA TBC, but.. all that goodness comes at a price, RRP $4499 inc GST
