Today’s message is “love your family with everything you have, be vocal, be expressive and be passionate. Because tomorrow isn’t promised.”
On the weekend just passed I was reminded of this after being involved in a car accident with my son passenger side. Although I took the impact of the crash all I could think about was my son. (It’s about to get gloomy) If I died today would I be satisfied with the life I’ve given him? Have we done enough together that he’s experienced life with joy love and understanding? Naturally my answer was no, my son is only 13, too young to lose his mum and too young to experience something so tragic (not that I have any control over when my time is up but if it’s preventable best believe I’ll be preventing that). Ngl it was a bit of a blow (pun not intended) I’ve always told my baby how much I love him but I still have so much more to show him and honestly I’m just grateful to have another day by his side. So when I say tomorrow isn’t promised, hear me. We never know what could happen, life is what we make of it so live and enjoy every ounce of it exactly how you want to. Make those core memories, have that banter, play those games with your kids, be present and take photos of literally anything and everything. Because when all is said and done it’s the moments in the frame that become remnants of the beautiful memories we shared and that is why they become treasures. Just love whanau, no regrets and live the life you want for you and your whanau. 💕
P.s I’m okay, pain in my back leg and chest but otherwise sweet my son is okay too no injuries for him or the other vehicle so grateful that they’re all okay
