Never underestimate the determination of mana Wahine to excel in every aspect of their lives. They are the woman that stand up when others do not, the woman who speak their truth with facts, the woman who lead, nurture and protect their people. Woman who don’t just fit in, but set the standard. Wāhine mā, rere ki runga!

When I started my journey as a whakaahua, I wasn’t entirely sure where it would lead. But being amongst so many beautiful families and individuals capturing memories they’d treasure forever gave me a sense of belonging.

It became a creative out of expression and naturally a form of self care. Every photoshoot for me recharges me even when I feel completely drained, reading feedback makes me smile knowing I’ve created something that brings joy to someone’s life and overall even when days become slow I know that this is where I’m meant to be. So thank you friends & whanau for your constant support ✨ I appreciate you all

UPDATE: Morena Friends 🙂

I’d like to introduce you to Arlo, & of course his māma Tamara. Arlo has a condition called cerebral palsy which affects his movement, muscle connection, speech, coordination and balance.

Basically he isn’t able to do a lot of things children at his age would usually be doing, so to help with intensive therapy cost his mama has been fundraising so she can get the best care possible to help her baby boy.

I’d like to do my part too. Soo Ive decided to run a flash sale, I know it’s short notice and many of you will be at sports but I mean why not. $50 per session will go towards Arlos intensive therapy cost

So, If you have a Nan and Koro who you are wanting portraits of, or you want to update your couple pics or whanau photos for the wall this is your chance.

Here are the finer details
All photoshoots at stoneham walk till end of May will be sold at flash sale price of $200
20 minute session / 10 photos
5 people max ($50 per extra)
$50 of each booking whether it is flash sale or full price session will go to till the end of June
*please note full payment is required for flash sale sessions as retainer to secure bookings.

Hopefully this gives more people time to prepare
If you would like to support please dm me for booking times or follow to support directly 🍂🤎

Today’s message is “love your family with everything you have, be vocal, be expressive and be passionate. Because tomorrow isn’t promised.”

On the weekend just passed I was reminded of this after being involved in a car accident with my son passenger side. Although I took the impact of the crash all I could think about was my son. (It’s about to get gloomy) If I died today would I be satisfied with the life I’ve given him? Have we done enough together that he’s experienced life with joy love and understanding? Naturally my answer was no, my son is only 13, too young to lose his mum and too young to experience something so tragic (not that I have any control over when my time is up but if it’s preventable best believe I’ll be preventing that). Ngl it was a bit of a blow (pun not intended) I’ve always told my baby how much I love him but I still have so much more to show him and honestly I’m just grateful to have another day by his side. So when I say tomorrow isn’t promised, hear me. We never know what could happen, life is what we make of it so live and enjoy every ounce of it exactly how you want to. Make those core memories, have that banter, play those games with your kids, be present and take photos of literally anything and everything. Because when all is said and done it’s the moments in the frame that become remnants of the beautiful memories we shared and that is why they become treasures. Just love whanau, no regrets and live the life you want for you and your whanau. 💕

P.s I’m okay, pain in my back leg and chest but otherwise sweet my son is okay too no injuries for him or the other vehicle so grateful that they’re all okay
