love, love, love nights like tonight! even though there were no waves ;)

so we have a little dilemma in our house.... when the surf is cranking who get's to go, the surfer or the photographer? 🤣🤣🤣 I know, I know surfer wins every time haha.

Yesterday we all got up early and headed out for both surfing + photos and the kids had so much fun adventuring out before sunrise, making drift wood huts, playing in the sand, hot chocolates + fluffies from The Fitzroy Beach Kiosk ... and making it just in time for school. The surf wasn't amazing and it was cold but the sunrise was just so beautiful it made the effort so worth it!

bummer I missed out on photographing the fun waves yesterday :(

We headed down the coast this morning, with a few surf spot checks on the way, then set the kids up while I took some snaps (which means four children ignored and left to fend for them-self 🤣) and then back to town for the kids to have a play in the water. Such a beautiful weekend, I'm LOVING this beautiful autumn weather!
