It’s hard to put the feel of the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island into words, so I won’t even bother trying. Here are a couple of frames that try to do it justice, captured through two different lenses.

Those tunes and visuals left more of a mark on me than I realized at the time. Some might relate.

PRINTS FOR BLATTEN – A print sale in solidarity with the victims of the glacier collapse in Blatten.

In 2016, I was fortunate to spend time in Blatten with Nicolas Müller, , and while shooting for my book Honey Ryder and Fruition.
The village had a mystical calm, especially during that snowstorm. I’ll always be grateful for the memories in this special region of my homeland.

It breaks my heart to know that the entire village is now buried beneath ice and mud. Many people have lost their homes – some that stood for centuries.

The people of Lötschental are resilient but they can use all the help they can get.
To support them, I’ve teamed up with and made a selection of prints available through my website.

All proceeds will go directly to the people of Blatten. Let‘s help them build their home again.

Moments with from one of those shoots where things just lined up so well it almost didn’t feel real. 1/2

In December 2023, I met Craig for the first time as he visited me in my home mountains to shoot a campaign for the Maverick and we scored dreamlike conditions — blower pow, clear cold skies, perfect terrain and an instant connection.

It usually takes time for a rider and a photographer to dial things in together — especially with followcams. Building the kind of mutual trust to get comfortable riding and shooting this close at high speed. With Craig, it felt effortless from the first turn and we were able to stack a fair amount of keepers in those couple of days.

Somehow, it all came together and we were buzzing like kids in a candy store.
