Extremely impressed with teaching standards and facilitation Freedive Gili • Gili Trawangan, Indonesia
Myself and Rangi Ririnui arrived here in gilli trawangan, a small island in Indonesia with intention to upskill and complete our advanced freediver instructor course. As our kaupapa Waitā expands this was an obvious decision supported by myself, Rangi and our other co founder Caleb Ware . Our vision is to gradually teach all levels of SSI courses , from the basics to advanced, performance and even instructor training in the future.
The course ran 4 days with pool, open water, stretching sessions and presentation/theory sessions that we had to complete.
Due to some physical challenges we were unable to complete all the in water requirements however we can record the exercises and send them through for completion within 6 months.
Our instructor Veronika Kruse was extremely knowledgeable, held a strong professional standard but also enough flexibility for us to feel comfortable and know we had the potential to pass.
10/10 experience from me and looking forward to coming back .
