I remember this day sooo clearly. My first paid shoot! I was so nervous (admittedly get just as nervous before every shoot though not gonna lie 😂), nothing really went to plan, my memory card ran out of room because I didn’t know I had to format it on my new camera to delete old data 😅, the kids just wanted to run into the ocean - absolute chaos 😂
I remember going home and rushing to upload the photos hoping I got some good ones. The anxiety was real 😂 I was sooo relieved and proud that I had actually managed to snap a few amidst the chaos! And despite it all, we all had so much fun!
After being hit with covid, then bedridden for the past 24 hours with gastro - I’ve really been forced to slow down and reflect on these first six months in business. I’m excited to see where this passion takes me, but I’m already so proud of where I’m at. It does feel a bit overwhelming sometimes - being a mum, full time nurse and trying to find my feet as a photographer. But I feel lucky to be so passionate in not just my nursing, but sharing my creative side through photography as well 🥺 I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve had so far from you all - I wouldn’t be able to do this without you 🤍
