Our little family has had a loooot go on the last few months and photography has been on the back burner 😮‍💨

Started a new job a few months ago with shift work which I loooove! But it means my photo sessions are planned around my days off or late starts- updated sessions in bio under bookings!

I had a mental health crisis- I’m still here that’s all that matters 😅

But we ready to elevate and get back into it! We have a few travels coming up this year, a few surgeries and a some exciting challenges and new spaces on ! I started a podcast! What?! 😆 I’m sharing my story around chronic illness, stress and trauma. It’s actually been very healing ❤️‍🩹

A tiny cry, a breath so new,
Our hearts expand — there’s room for two.

Things have been crazy lately- car accident, healing, post grad, sickness, mahi is crazy, advocating, crazy patient load- low key not handling it e te iwi 😅 but pai ana, gotta keep going! 💪🏼

My baby 🫶🏼 Soña LEIKELA Emeline Tongi.

I chose to rebrand my photography business after she was born for a few reasons:

1. Once I became a mum I finally found my niche! Took forever haha but baby’s, hapu mama and whanau have been what I’ve loved capturing!
2. My daughter is the epitome of joy: everything about her is light, love, positive, hopeful and more. I wanted those positive things to be reflected in my photography and I think we’re doing ok so far haha 😅

She’s so used to being in front of the camera with all my practicing- she even wanted some photos of herself today during a photoshoot we had haha anei my baby 🫶🏼
