A different sport for me to capture today. The Kapa Haka groups from Hamilton Girls HS & Hamilton Boys HS opened the 2026 NZ CrossFit Champs here in Hamilton today. That worm like structure the competitors in the teams event were carrying/lifting today weighed 160kgs! I'm hoping to capture the action of our previous young volleyball champ Emily Julian tomorrow.

11 years after photographing my first Bjerring wedding, I had the pleasure of covering the wedding of Amalia and Johan which was truly a family and friends organised event. Photographed at residences in the Ohaupo and Pokuru countryside, the elegant Bride & Groom along with their bridal party added plenty of glamour to the rural setting. .winchcombe
