Today's ploughing put on by the Hinds Ploughing Association.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon having a walk around the field, watching tractors, horses and their operators practise their ploughing skills.

Next year sees the New Zealand Ploughing Championship come to Hinds, which I look forward to spending a bit of time at.

Day 2 of the Ashburton Street Sprint dawned a little damp and remained overcast all day. It didn't stop the awesome racing with Hayden Paddon being crowned the winner on the day.

Yesterday evening I managed to capture some practice runs put on by 10 Yak's currently stabled at Ashburton Airport. They are on site practising until Thursday, when they will head off to Warbirds over Wanaka.
