Like an Ent from Lord of the Rings, you can head to Karamea and see our own walking tree.

I was kind of lucky to get any photo of the tree as by the time I arrived the sun had already set and it was quite dark, which required a 1.6 second exposure.

It wouldn't be right to not take some photos of the GTR while it was out for its weekend drive.

Ashburton Family Go Kart Club held a race day on Sunday. With a reasonable amount of rain before (and during) the racing, the paddock quickly turned to mud. Well done to all those who got involved and braved the conditions.
