Not every love story needs soft pastels and golden hour….

Another wedding season wrapped ✨

Looking back through the last few months, I keep coming back to the same feeling — gratitude.

For the couples who trusted me to document the biggest days of their lives.
For the wind-blown veils, emotional vows, champagne towers, happy tears and packed dance floors.
For the quiet moments in between that often become the photographs people treasure most.

This season took me from coastal celebrations and golden hillsides to historic venues, garden weddings and beautifully curated days filled with so much love. Every wedding looked different, but the heart of it was always the same: people choosing each other and gathering their favourite humans in one place.

I feel like I’ve seen a shift this season too. Couples are leaning into authenticity more than ever. Less pressure for perfection, more focus on connection. More movement, more emotion, more presence. And honestly, those are the moments that make the most meaningful photographs.

To every couple who stepped in front of my camera this season — thank you. Thank you for inviting me into your stories, for trusting my vision, and for letting me create alongside you.

Starting a little series over winter to help you with your wedding planning… just some bits and pieces I’ve picked up over the past 8 years of shooting weddings….

Your bridal party will be beside you for some of the biggest moments of your wedding day - so choosing them should feel intentional not stressful ✨

- choose people who genuinely support you, not just people who you feel obligated to include
- Think about personalities as much as aesthetics - calm energy goes a long way on a wedding day
- Bigger isn’t always better. A smaller bridal party can make the day feel more intimate and relaxed
- Don’t feel pressured to make everything perfectly even on both sides
- Coordinated doesn’t have to mean identical- mixed styles and textures photograph beautifully and feel more natural

The best bridal parties are the ones that make you feel grounded, comfortable and completely yourself 🤍

At the end of the day, your wedding photos will reflect the energy in the room - so surround yourself with people who bring joy, calm and love into it.
