Bindy Lavender Bindy lavender photography is a page displaying my journey as a photographer I am only offering the Two evenings and it will only be During school term time.

I am based in the stunning Far North of New Zealand in Houhora

I mainly take portrait photos of both people and pets aswell as action sports shots. I love getting out with other like minded people and taking landscapes, astro and anything else that takes our fancy

I will be offering Mobile massage appointment for therapeutic relaxation massage on Wed & Thursday Evenings evenings either 4 or

5pm. I am qualified with a certificate in relaxation, sport and pregnancy massage through the New Zealand College of massage and have been practicing for over 5years.

60min massgae is $100, and 90min is $150, this is to cover setup time and travel, though the 60 or 90min is the time you will Spend on the table. You will need to have an area in your house that is big enough tho have a 2m long table and room to walk around it. If you are located further than 10km from Houhora or 10km from the main road into Kaitaia extra milage costs may be incured. I will send you a pre-massage form That we will go over, along with small chat for your first session so please allow Abit of extra time. Please let me know if you are on medication, pregnant or any other concerns as a medical clearance may be required from your doctor a prior to massage.

Ngataki School is running a subtropical Fruit tree raffle to raise funds so that the year 9 - 12's are able to go on a trip to Rarotonga in October this year. There are 3 prizes as below.
1st - either large 1.5m or 2 smaller red lady papaya, 1 x black sapote, 1 x vanilla orchid, 1 x Brazilian cherry, 1 x sweet orange Surinam cherry, 1 x inga (ice cream) bean tree, 1 x blue java banana
2nd - 1 x red lady papaya, 1 x golden pineapple, 1 x vanilla orchid, 1 x Brazilian cherry, 1 x sweet orange Surinam cherry, 1 x inga (ice cream) bean tree, 1 banana
3rd - 1 x red lady papaya, 1 x vanilla orchid, 1 x sweet orange Surinam cherry, 1 x inga (ice cream) bean tree, 1 x dwarf cavendish
Tickets are $5 each all proceeds will go towards the students tip to Rarotonga. Supported by Bens Garde, Austen's Exotic Gardens, Tallyman Bananas, and Bindy Lavender
Pictures below are indicative of plants being auctioned, banana pups are still to be dug up. Plants can be couried at winners cost if they are not within Kaitaia or ability to be delivered. There are 500 tickets and it will be drawn once they are all sold.

Some of the pictures I took between 10 pm and 11:30 last night 4.1.25 on 90 mile beach.

I must say it was a weird feeling sitting on the sandbank in the brisk wind listening to the waves crashing on the shore. It sounded as though there were drums playing along with the colours in the sky.

Most of the streaks of lights are satellites due to the shape as meteors are sort of rounded at one end and tail off.
