We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful country to elope in. Aotearoa you are stunning! The events of the last two years has taught me that it’s time to do what inspires me and shoot how I want to shoot. I love documenting life through photography.

Photography is my passion, my oxygen and my calm. I shoot film on really freaking cool analog cameras. I love the aesthetic and craft of shooting on film. The skill is in creating the image not in the editing.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST WEDDING PHOTOS.

So, you’re shopping around for a wedding photographer.

Chances are you’re going to see a very similar range of images taken by different photographers.

Consider this. Instead of just looking at their previous weddings you ask to see their personal projects. The photographer shooting for the love of it.

Choose your photographer on their creative ability and their skill at being able to produce stunning, interesting images in different conditions.

My favourite genre of photography is street photography. This requires several key skills.

Good location scouting.

Working with and finding great light.

Being able to adapt to any given situation.

My clients are a little quirky, arty for lack of a better term. I shoot weddings on digital and film with really cool analog cameras. Film has a lovely texture and aesthetic that digital photographers are constantly trying to replicate. I prefer the slowness and creativity that film allows me. It’s more real for you and me.

Your wedding day will live on with beautiful prints and albums, not just digital files.
