A couple of photos of something different today.
Went to Lake Waihola to watch the last of the local boat clubs racing days. The boats had to do 7 laps one way, then 7 laps the other way, and pass a certain point at 100 kph.
I tried my new lens, but couldnt get it to work, so used my old camera lens. Not totally clear photos, as I was playing around with camera shutter speeds and ISO settings, trying to get the fast moving boats still. Some reasonable photos, and interesting to try something different.

On my way back from the supermarket, I took a detour along Station road, which is part of my school bus route. This road usually floods when we get a lot of rain. It was better than I thought it would be, but still a nice lake in the middle with tree reflections.
