Stoked with this setup. I’m really enjoying the challenge of lighting these interviews in different locations at the moment.

No house lights for contrast. Super harsh daylight out the back but somewhat controlled with the blinds. The rim light is motivated by that sunlight.

Chucked a little kicker light on the left hand side of the shot to bring some interest and colour to the scene.

Got to shoot with the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro G2 to go along with my BMPCC 6K - colour grading and matching the shots was so much easier than usual. The depth of the space always helps the final look too 🎞️
