We started this session when the sun was high up in the sky and somehow ended up photographing until the sky went dark. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

This beautiful couple brought so much warmth, connection and genuine love to their session. The kind of love you can just feel. Bonus part? The fact that they look like absolute models !!

An evening I'll remember for a very long time, and photographs that I hope will always take them right back to how this moment felt. And what made it so much more special was getting to capture these beauties alongside my talented friend Auckland Family Photographer & Educator ~ Megan 🤎

I spent this day hiking with one of my beeeeautiful friends and fellow photographer . We were looking for the perfect location for an upcoming shoot and she packed a dress "just in case" we wanted to practice, and the moment she slipped it on, Wow, Goddess mode activated . I genuinely couldn't stop taking photos of her . Doesn't she look magical ?

But my favourite part wasn't even the dress or the photos . It was watching her forget about everything else for a little while . Watching her quiet the noise in her head, breathe, laugh, and simply exist in the moment . Seeing someone who spends so much of herself pouring into others finally let herself be the one in front of the camera felt really special .

I hope these photos always remind you of the way I see you Megan . Strong, gentle, and wildly beautiful ! Can't wait to do this again 🤎

This beautiful soul has been part of my life for so many years. We've walked through different seasons together, stood beside each other when life felt impossibly heavy, and somehow always found our way back.

From playing together as little girls, to holding eachother through grief and now watching her with her beautiful little family. Oh it filled my heart in a way that's hard to explain. Yes, I cried, of course !!

Solen, as I stood behind me camera that day, I couldn't help but think how incredibly proud your Dad would be. To see the woman you've become, the devoted wife and Mother that you are and the beautiful family you've built. I have no doubt he's beaming with pride.

What an absolute privilege it is to freeze moments like these. The kind that remind us that love never really stops, it simply keeps growing through the people we hold closest.

I know she's my sister, so I might be a little biased, but have you SEEN those dimples?! 😍

Spent the day photographing one of my favourite humans, laughing until our stomachs hurt and realizing my parents really chose their favourite when they gave her the longest legs.

Beautiful inside and out, and forever one of my favourite people to have in front of my camera, and in my life.

Can someone please explain how photographers maintain professionalism with their clients? Because I seem completely incapable of it.

My 1 hour sessions somehow turn into 3. I fall in love with every family I photograph. I become "Aunty Sara" to their kids, and before I know it, I'm emotionally invested in every milestone, every laugh, and every chapter of their story.

This family was one of those families. The way they loved each other felt so effortless. And the way they adored their little girl, as though they knew she was sent down from above just for them, and they've spent every day since loving her with everything they have.

At this point I didn't even need prompts, all I did was slow down and capture the moments that were unfolding right in front of me.

So no, I may never master the art of keeping my distance. But honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way 🥹

There are some sessions that never really leave you. No matter how much time passes, they stay tucked inside your heart.

Looking back on this session brings me a feeling the Japanese call "Natsukashii", a beautiful kind of nostalgia. The kind that gently transports you back to a moment so full of warmth, love, and sweetness that you can almost feel it all over again.

This was one of those sessions for me.
One of the ones that reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place.

We spent a quiet day in the forest, laughing at anything and everything . I got to watch my beautiful friend love her people so gently and so fully. Nothing forced or staged, just real moments, deep connection, and the kind of love you can feel in the air. These are the moments that mean everything, and I will forever be here, getting emotional capturing them.

There are moments in life that feel too beautiful to be real,and this was one of them.
The amazingly talented artist and my dear friend traveled all the way from USA and chose our little family to be part of something so special. What unfolded felt like stepping into a dream, soft, emotional, and full of so much love.
She didn’t just take photos, she saw us. The way we love, the way we hold each other, the little in-between moments that mean everything. And somehow, she turned all of that into art.
I am completely obsessed with these images, but even more than that, I will cherish the feeling of this day forever.
Thank you for capturing us so perfectly. You have given us something truly priceless and I will never not be obsessed with this trip 🤎

Some sessions leave you without words and filled with gratitude, this was definitely one of those ! Nothing but pure love and connection. Mama snuggling with her babies, dancing under the setting sky and so many laughs! How lucky am I to call this my job?

Also, don't listen to anyone who tells you not to be friends with your clients. I'm definitely besties with and !

A mama, her two hearts, and a whole lot of joy splashed into one evening . They really brought out pure happiness in one another.

I love being around this love, and capturing it makes me feel like I am a part of their story .
