Planning a summer wedding?

Summer time in New Zealand is not only wedding season, it's engagement season! There's something about the long summer days that puts people in the "let's be together forever" mood and vendors start booking up quickly.

Can you guess which vendor I'm going to suggest adding to the top of your list to lock in right away? That's right... your photographer! ⁠
⁠
It's a good idea to find and book your photographer at least 12 months from your wedding date. Setting the date and choosing your venue might come first, but your photographer is the next pro you want to secure! There are a lot of us out there with distinctly different styles, so make sure to find someone whose work you love and you get along well with.

A little 👁‍🗨👁‍🗨 peek from our last wedding for 2020! What a perfect way to end a wedding season unlike any other. A season that saw weddings dramatically downsized, postponed, or canceled, and so many couples having to make unexpected and difficult choices.

Wedding timeline tips.

Who will be helping you into your wedding gown?⁠ Will it be your Mum, your BFF, your sister, or all of the above?

Whoever this special person is, for pretty photos, make sure they know to be dressed and ready about 10 minutes before you plan to step into your dress. And if you have a lace-up gown allow at least 20 minutes!!
