Back in 2018, we followed 8 amateur cyclists taking on the Tour de France route, finishing each stage one day ahead of the pros. We turned it into a documentary, which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/4L4sReM6iqo

Now organiser Jonathan Douglas is back in France doing it all again, this time with a new, mixed team of seven riders.
Three of the original 2018 crew Paul, Mike, and are also back for round two!

They're already on Stage 3, chasing the same roads as the pros, one day ahead.
Follow the journey day by day here: https://www.facebook.com/RouleurBikeToursNZ
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Good luck to all seven riders!

We're riding all 21 stages of the 2026 Tour de France one day ahead of the pros! ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ Follow us here for live daily updates and stories from the road this July! โœจ

Can someone with the rare disease Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN) ride the entire route of the Tour de France? That's exactly what Clive Phillips from Making The Most of Now and four fellow veterans set out to discover, following the historic 1955 Tour de France route through the Alps, Mont Ventoux, and the Pyrenees.

Featuring double Paralympic gold medalist Watson and Italian para-triathlete Ilaria Brugnoli, this is a film about teamwork, vulnerability, and proving the seemingly impossible, possible. Already warmly received by cyclists and non-cyclists alike following its premiere in Gent, Belgium on Rare Disease Day.

A portion of all screening profits goes directly to MMN research. Come along, bring a friend ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿšด๐Ÿšด
