Hidden off the Forgotten World Highway are ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ.
Over the past three years, Hugh and Hasmah have restored and revitalised this remarkable ๐ฐ๐ฐ-๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐, home to hundreds of r๐ต๐ผ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป๐, ๐บ๐ฎ๐ด๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐, acers (Japanese maples), oaks and beech trees, along with ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐, ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ๐, terraced ponds and bridges. ๐๐น๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐, ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ and ๐ฒ๐
๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฝ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ roam the grounds, adding to the richness of this hidden landscape.
Growing up in Africa beneath the volcanic slopes of Mt Kenya, Hugh spent years searching for a place where he could once again work the soil and create something lasting. In Tututawa, beneath the watch of Taranaki Maunga, that vision found a new home.
๐ ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ณ was to capture aerial motion footage that reveals the scale of the gardens, their dramatic setting within the surrounding landscape, and their relationship to Taranaki Maunga.
