Staring at the night sky lit up with the suns electrified particles hitting our atmosphere does something to me that I cant explain, it ignites a fire within me, a fire filled with awe, wonder, love and excitment . I remember the 1st time I saw an aurora, i was around 6 or 7 years old and my dad bundled myself and my cousin up and we headed down to the beach. I had no idea what i was going to see, at 1st it took a while for my eyes to adjust to the darkness of the night, but then before us the sky seemed to dance and move as the aurora swirled above us. I have never forgotten that moment and it awakened my passion for the night sky.
