How cool is this little full-circle moment 🥹

2015 — one of my very first weddings, photographing my high school photography teacher’s wedding.

2026 — and I’m still lucky enough to be photographing her family, from newborns to extended family photos, and creating prints, frames and canvas for them too.

It’s pretty special having someone who was part of the reason I fell in love with photography still trusting me with all these special moments years later 🤍

11 years, a lot of learning, and a whole lot of photos later 😂

A very special thank you to my lovely friend Dee at HANA. Mahi Toi for weaving this beautiful kete for my newborn sessions. It was absolutely perfect for Hugo and I’m so in love with how these images came together. 🤍

There’s something so special about incorporating beautiful, handmade pieces into newborn photography, and this kete is truly a work of art.
