Still trying to wrap my head around this one a little bit 🥹
I entered a local photography competition through the Tararua District Council with the theme “Weathering Wonderfully”, not really expecting much… and ended up coming away with 5 awards across 2 images 🤍
“Into the Mist” — taken on an early spring morning on our family farm in Woodville — received People’s Choice, Staff Vote and Overall Winner (and will be on the cover of a book about our region which still feels so surreal).
“Wharite Peak” — captured on a cold winter’s day with the tower disappearing into cloud — received 1st in the Adult Section and 1st in Black & White.
