// Aurora in the Manawatu //

Amanda Elkins Photography and I popped out last night to see if we could capture any of the Aurora. I managed to snap a shot as the cloud was rolling in incorporating the Monument and the Bridge out at Opiki.
This was shot under a half moon so it certainly helped with lighting up the foreground but this also tends to wash out the colors of the Aurora too.
Still happy to see it gracing us with its presence once again in the mighty Manawatu.
