Fun Photographer for Portraits, Events and Teams Say Monkey Photography is run by Te Ratahi, an experience photographer of people big and small and her family.

Its a home based business so you can expect that a two year old may occasionally beat her to the phone. Please do be patient if you are trying to get through as our household also includes 2 teenagers who may hog the phone as well. Send us an email or a Facebook message and we will get back to you within 48hrs during the week. If you see us online it may be a whole lot quicker :)

09 in Woodcroft we moved to St Clair in 2012. We've gone from a family partnership to a sole trading business and sometime in the future we will transition to a family owned company.

I have been going through a bunch of old archive discs and transferring them to a hard drive.

I found this gem of Hayley and Noah from 2012. I would love to redo this photo Maria Harrison i think it would be amazing to see how much they have changed.

St Marys Senior High School Year 12- they had a blast at their formal on Friday night.

Photos are being uploaded to the gallery as we speak. There are a lot of images so they will take a little while to get through.

Recently saw some photos on a Railway track and was triggered hard. I'm also a train driver.

Nobody except train crew know exactly how it feels to see someone on the tracks in front of your train knowing you can't stop in time.

So next time you see a photo like that on fb it i would love it if you blocked it instead of liking it or just kept scrolling. Because sometimes things my friends like pop up in my feed.

A friend asked if I could fix a photo a little while back. It was pretty damaged and its definitely not something I had experience with but I said I would give it a go.
So I tried my hand at this photo restoration last week. I surprised myself and really enjoyed bringing this photo back to life. It's a precious photo from the day this couple got married a few decades ago.
It had been loved too much as you can see by all the creases. It brought tears to the eyes of the man in the photo to see it restored.

Cathleen and her girls joined us in the studio this week. It was lovely to see her jump in with them for this cute photo.
Cathleen got in touch and told me she regrets not being in more photos with her girls.
We know it can be super hectic living the these days with all the dance, sports & tutoring kids have going on. So we aim to keep our sittings under the 30min mark.
