Lockdown here in NZ means a lot of time to work through the massive backlog of images from my South Island road trip earlier this year. This one's from the stunning Otago Peninsula. It's gotta be one of NZ's best-kept secrets!

The Ho**er Valley in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park is easily one of my favourite hikes in New Zealand. I was lucky enough to do it while our borders were still closed so there was virtually nobody there.

I was rewarded with this magical scene just outside Queenstown and reminded that getting up for sunrise is always worth the struggle. It wasn't the scene that I went looking for, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I found!

Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo, NZ. I couldn't have asked for better conditions for some astrophotography in New Zealand's very own dark sky reserve. You haven't seen stars until you've visited a dark sky reserve 🤩

I couldn't have asked for a more incredible welcome to the South Island. I found this lovely scene in Motueka, set up my camera, and then watched the sky change from grey to orange to pink as it put on one of the most stunning sunsets I've ever seen ⛵️
