Family photos with family friends Brianna Wilson and Jordan Wilson I’ve taken photos in lots of places around the world but Queenstown has got to be one of the most mental in terms of backdrops. Not sure how many family sessions I’ve done where you can just wander up and down the street and call it done. Panorama Terrace definitely lives up to its name.

And yeah, the backdrop is incredible but it’s the people that always matter. The family, the love, the kids, the connection. I’ll be the first to admit that family photos with little ones aren’t always easy. You know what they always are though - worth it.

Family sessions in Queenstown are still available until mid December from which time I’ll be back in Sydney for the most part. As for 2027…not sure where we will be but I can guarantee you it will be fun.

There’s something pretty special about these.

Rach photographed this couple in her childhood home, and somehow managed to turn a place full of personal history into something that feels cinematic, intimate and completely timeless.

The light, the location, the way she’s captured the connection between these two. It’s just beautiful.

This is exactly the kind of photography I love seeing from people who do my workshops - taking what they’ve learnt and turning it into something that feels entirely their own.

I really love these.

Tecia Tecia • Motherhood & Newborn Photographer • Sunshine Coast recently picked up a Fujifilm X100VI after shooting Canon for years, so she’s been learning her way around a completely different camera. And I think these photos are a pretty good sign that she’s getting the hang of it.

There’s something really nice about the way she’s seeing things here. The photo of her son and the cockatoo, the symmetry in the archway, the light and shadows…

And they’re all straight out of the camera.

The X100VI is a pretty special little camera for this kind of thing. It’s small, has a fixed lens and is really enjoyable to shoot manually. Once you understand how to control the camera rather than letting it make all the decisions for you, a camera like this can produce some seriously beautiful images.

Tecia did The Nursery, and it’s pretty special seeing her put what she learnt into practice like this. Really nice work, Tecia :)
