A quick life update between the quiet moments ✨ Lately, happiness looks like painting sessions, farm chores, feeding the calves, warm home-baked cookies, and catching those unreal golden-hour sunsets. 🌾🎨🐮

I’ve been soaking up the simple things, resetting, and finding inspiration all around me.

• Moving farms (the annual June migration is no joke 📦🚜)

Headline: Alive and well (just traded my camera strap for a lead rope lately! 🚜💨)

​Hey everyone,
​I’ve been a bit of a ghost in this page lately, and I wanted to pop in, say hello, and share a little life update on why my camera has been gathering a bit of dust.

​If you know Kiwi farming life, you know June is absolute madness. Our family has been in the thick of the "Sharemilking Musical Chairs"—packing up our entire lives and making the big move like so many other farming families do this time of year. Between that, getting through dry cow therapy with the Anexa crew, and running a non-stop weekend taxi service for my two girls' sports galore... let’s just say my creative cup has been filled with coffee and adrenaline instead of beautiful golden hour shots!

​I’ve missed looking through the viewfinder, but right now, I'm just trying to capture the memories in my head while surviving the chaos.

​To everyone else balancing a crazy season of life with their passion for photography—I see you! I’m hoping to get back behind the lens properly soon once the boxes are unpacked and the cows are settled.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who hold everything together with love, patience, and endless care.
The ones wiping tears, giving cuddles, making lunches, remembering all the little things, and somehow still showing up every single day.

It’s such an honour being trusted to capture the connection between you and your babies — the quiet moments, the chaos, the laughter, and the love that lives in between it all.

One day, these photos will mean everything.
Not because they were perfect… but because you were there.

I hope today you feel loved, appreciated, and celebrated for all that you do. 🤍

To all the beautiful mummas who stepped in front of my camera for my Mummy & Me mini sessions… thank you 🤍

Thank you for trusting me to capture something so special. I know how easy it is to stay behind the camera, to feel unsure, or to put it off “until another time” — but you showed up anyway, and that is so powerful.

Watching you love on your babies, cuddle them close, laugh with them, and just be together… it was honestly such a privilege to witness and document. These are the moments that matter. The real, raw, in-between magic.

I hope when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see how it looked — but how it felt.

Because these images are extra special for Mother’s Day, I won’t be sharing any of the Mummy & Me photos on my social media just yet — they’re yours to hold onto and gift first 🤍

You are doing an incredible job, and your babies are so lucky to have you 🤍
