Inspiration comes from all sorts of places. On my fridge door, I have a photo taken probably 15 years ago, on a photography weekend. Two of the people in the image are no longer with us and one of the others has dementia. Some of these people have became life long friends, who we don't see very often, but know they aren't far away.

When I was collecting from a family member yesterday, photography books, from the one who has dementia, we talked about his wife. She is one of the people in the image who is no longer with us. Such a great person, who had very strong opinions.

I can remember showing her images I had taken, not long before she died. She looked at me and said "Your arts going a little bit weird isn't it dear". Yes, yes it was and has.

If anything, it's got weirder. I often hear her, saying this too me and think, I'm not sure she would approve, but it's an individual choice.
