I took over 600 images in the pouring rain to get this one! 😂 It ended up being well worth it tho 😊

The mighty supermoon
Who else loved last night's show?? =D
Finally, after hardly any photography this year, due to a very cute baby arriving, I made it out!!! 😍 I was very excited for this event. I packed up my gear after sunset and headed out to Bethels beach. It has been so long since I have tracked I had to really think about alignment 😁 once locked on to Polaris Australis I could fully take in and appreciate the spectacular sight unfolding. Man nature can really put on a show!
The final image is 35 images tracked and stacked into an Hdr. Exposures ranging from 180 seconds to 1/16. Was happy I managed to pull some decent star detail as well even on the lunar track. =)
