A few years ago (4), I took the leap and went full time as a photographer and business owner. One of the biggest things I wanted was to meet like-minded people and build real friendships in the industry.
Running a business on your own can be super rewarding, but it can also feel pretty lonely sometimes — long hours, lots of hard work, and constantly trying to push yourself to grow. But if you know me, you know I’m always up for a challenge.
Booking a spot at the PPBN conference on the Gold Coast was honestly exactly what I needed. It gave me the chance to connect with people in the same genre I’m so passionate about, meet so many incredible new friends, and be surrounded by people who just get it. Plumbing myself into workshops surrounded about mindset, business numbers, Ai, hands on learning, preschool photography, and post processing importance was@just a few things that absorbed my brain.
I’ve come away feeling inspired and motivated, with heaps of fresh ideas, new goals, and excitement for what’s next. More than anything, it reminded me that believing in what you’re building is always worth it.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is step outside your comfort zone, meet new people, learn from others, and give yourself the chance to grow.
