If you have been following my page for a while, you know my children go almost everywhere with me. Today was no exception. Caught this great shot of Mo, my German Wirehaired Pointer, in the late afternoon sun on our way out of Black Gully. It's a ripper! He celebrated his fourth birthday last month and is looking cuter than ever. 🥰

A little sneak peek from a family shoot I photographed in the Hokonui Hills a couple of weeks ago with the lovely Ahern family.

The dogs were part of the deal, which made me ridiculously happy because dog people are definitely my people.

What was supposed to be a 90-minute shoot somehow turned into three hours. Nobody was watching the clock, everyone was having fun, and we just kept finding great spots and moments to photograph.

Honestly, those are often the best sessions. No rush, lots of laughs, a few furry photo bombers, and plenty of memories captured along the way.

Thanks for having me along, Ahern family. I had an absolute blast.

Caught up with Luke and Nicole Kane and their family recently for some photos around the farm ahead of Mother's Day.

With the Blue Mountains in the background and the late afternoon sun putting on a show, we were spoilt for choice for backdrops.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this shoot was capturing three generations together. These are the photos that become more valuable with every passing year.

This week, it felt like Jess and I were stepping back in time when we created a video for 38 Koa Street, Gore, where she delivered an intro and exit clip speaking to camera.

Our collection of bloopers is already underway, something I shall store for her end of year laugh, and I am so looking forward to creating more great property videos together.

It would have been ideal to have perfect blue skies but it is Southland. Weather is only perfect 90% of the time down here and we're out to keep it real so we need to have the occasional overcast day thrown in or people will think we manipulate our films.
