96 years Western Springs Speedway has been going, Racing, making memories, friends, family and all.

Tonight is the final night (Really hope not) and wishing it continues to carry on running as it should.

For me it's where I had not only started watching speedway alongside Waikaraka when I was a baby up to now, but also to end up having the privilege to be able to start racing there at a young age in the 1/4 midgets, creating bonds with friends over the years and being able to then have kids who I have then took to Western Springs and watch them enjoy it as much as I did.

Meeting new people along the way each time I went back and got to know more and more over the years and watching new talent take place on the track too.

These are memories that will last forever and I cannot get my head around why the council want to take this away from people when it can carry on creating memories, family, friendship, passion, sport, excitement and everything else that it brings each race meeting and between!

Wishing everyone attending an amazing night, would love to be there!
