Some new website/social media photography for the beautiful and talented Clara from Manaaki Massage 🫶🏻

I booked a massage with Clara last week when I came off Mt Titiroa with a rather painful shoulder. A few days later I was on Milford Track for another few days in the hills. Clara definitely has the magic touch ✨ I’m looking forward to another magical massage today. If you’re in Te Anau/Manapouri I highly recommend you make a booking!

Well it turns out Green Lake wasn’t so Green, maybe we should rename it Pink Lake? 😆 Another local hut ticked off the list. Embarrassed that it took so long for me to get to see this one 🫣 I will definitely be back with the kids next time, but maybe I’ll only subject them to the shorter track in from the tops 😆 Going in from Lake Monowai end was amazing but take note, Track finding skills are a MUST 😅

I was lucky enough to meet Johanna, the owner of Wildwood Sauna last year when starting Wild Heart New Zealand . She is a talented artist and graphic designer amongst her many talents 🎨🤯

We connected through a close friend over a coffee one cold spring morning here in Fiordland. The moment she walked out the door I turned to my business partner and said, I absolutely LOVE her! Down to earth, super friendly but overall she just has that unique peaceful vibe about her. So to get the call up to do some photography for her new sauna business was a no brainer 💁🏼‍♀️ I’m in!

I loved every second of taking these photos for Wildwood. The models made it incredibly easy for me 😍😅 Clara from Manaaki Massage who features in a lot of these photos, was truly magnetic. She also happens to have one of the kindest souls, she made me feel so calm in her presence. Booking a massage with her is on the top of my to do list!

The sauna itself is of a very high quality, it creates a serene and peaceful space for solitude or connection. This is our new meeting place by the lake 🫶🏻 and I’m here for it!

Calling all women who love wild places and crave a different kind of adventure ! 🥾🌿

I'm dreaming up something alongside my neighbour Hannah from Rewild You- small-group guided wilderness trips for women in the Southern Alps of NZ. Think: muddy boots, belly laughs, deep chats, and full-body resets in the outdoors. Days walking in the Mountains, away from technology, connecting through adventure with like minded women!

We’re still in the listening and research phase and are genuinely looking for input from aussie women who might consider something like this.

What a bunch of strong and determined women ✨🫶 I cherished every step, every laugh, every conversation, every connection. From plunging into the freezing water of Lake Mackenzie and drinking fireball in the drying room to warm back up, to climbing precariously around slips and standing on the edge of cliffs.

Together we raised over $65,000 for RUN DIPG! Thankyou to every one of you who donated or was involved in this incredible charity hike, you are making a difference 💛💛💛 Soo many photos to come, but couldn't help share a glimpse of the magic we experienced! In 2019, a group of friends and strangers united to raise awareness and research funds for RUN DIPG - A charity dedicated to finding effective treatments for the most lethal childhood disease; Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

This charity hike remains one of the most meaningful events of my life. I thought if we could pull a handful of people together to raise a few grand, I’d be stoked. We ended up with a group of 20 incredible women, raising over $50,000 for cancer research.

RUN DIPG has grown significantly over the past few years and it has been incredibly inspiring to see the progress made by founders Matt & Phoebe Dun and their team at Newcastle University. Every dollar raised has been spent with intention, as they move towards a cure.

On the 4th of November, almost 5 years to the day since our last fundraising hike, we are uniting once again. 26 of us will be tackling another of New Zealand’s great walks, the Routeburn Track! This time we are stepping it up with our fundraising efforts and taking a plunge into Lake Mackenzie in some pretty freezing conditions 🥶🥶
