What a weekend!
Analogue Aotearoa has wrapped up after two fantastic days celebrating all things analogue photography — exhibitions, photo walks, talks, workshops, slide shows, 8mm screenings, and even a DJ spinning 78s on a gramophone.

Artists and visitors came from all over Aotearoa to share their passion for the craft. A huge thank you to everyone involved, and to the wonderful town of Te Aroha for hosting and supporting the festival.

Friday Afternoon
(Hazelwood House)

Dear Dad & Mum.
Lu & I arrived here about 5pm yesterday and had a quiet stroll and look around. The gardens were a haven of rest & were appreciated by us both in the evening. The air was soothing. We sampled springs No 8 & 22 - the latter having the flavour of soda water - it only wanting a drop of whisky & lemon to make it complete. We climbed the Bald Spur this morning along with some others from the house. I stayed at this place in apl
1915 & found it has kept up its reputation. Lu & I are both quite well.

I am not speaking to Jerry so I won’t get any presents this year. Addie dosn't want me to go home but I gave a week’s notice yesterday. It has been dreadful weather hear, the river is flooded.
I didn't see Marie Stewarts wedding – just fancy her being married. I must be dead slow. Well I must close now and go do some work, we have 25 boarders now.
