One of my favourite parts of this fabulous day was jumping in the car with Surrey & Mark and exploring Timaru to find those hidden, magical spots for photos. The light was stunning, and their joy made every frame come alive. The perfect combo!

We started beneath the mountains at Aoraki/Mount Cook, wandered our way past the dreamy blues of Lake Pukaki, and ended the evening at Lake Tekapo with the most beautiful sunset surprise proposal.

It was the kind of day that reminds me why I love documenting love stories in wild, breathtaking places - full of adventure, emotion, and moments you’ll never forget.

Winter time for me means it’s time to slow down a little, get cozy, and start dreaming up some personal projects to feed the soul.

I’m thinking… experimenting just for the sake of it. Creating without a deadline. Following the little ideas that have been quietly tapping me on the shoulder all year. More play, more curiosity, more making things because they feel good.

I’ve been spending a lot more time in Tekapo lately - and I’m so excited to dive into more Lake Tekapo / Lake Pukaki / Aoraki Mount Cook elopements over the coming months.
