Heading to Maryborough tomorrow - been a while since I’ve photographed Karts!

Nominations are now open for the Clark Motorsport Speedway Kart Nationals to be held at Maryborough Speedway on the 13th of June.

One day Licences available

Nominations close on Wednesday the 10th of June.
When nominating you must fill out your bank details to receive prize money.

Format for all classes

Time Trials (2 Laps)
Each driver will have 2 laps to put their best time on the board. Time trials will set the starting positions for round 1 of the heats, with the fastest to start at the rear.
Round 1
Fastest from the time trials will start of the rear of the grid with an inverted format with the slowest time trailer to start from pole position.
Round 2
Starting positions for round 2 will be reverse finishing positions from round 1, so if you win your heat in round 1 then you get to start at the back for round 2.
Final (25 Laps)
Starting positions to be decided on points with Highest Points to start pole.

Time Trials and Heat points
1st 22, 2nd 19, 3rd 17, 4th 15, 5th 13, 6th 11, 7th 9, 8th 7, 9th 5, 10th 4, 11th 3, 12th 2, all other finishers 1 point. DNF 0 points.
Tied points will be separated by fastest lap times.

Minimum class numbers will apply to constitute Prize money and vouchers.

Packing to head off to New Zealand tomorrow and taking very limited camera gear - but before I started I thought while I’ve got the bag scales out I’d weigh my usual bag that I carry around (and put down as often as possible lol) because a few people that have picked up my bag to pass to me have commented ‘how f’n heavy is that??’
