Ko tahi tangata - though we are many, we move as one.

Four generations gathered on the whenua that has raised them, held them, and carried their stories through time.
Such a privilege to witness their aroha, their unity, their legacy. 🌿🤍

Such an honour to capture my dear friend in her absolute happy place, the valley she grew up in 🤍🌲
And now she gets to raise her babies here too, surrounded by the same whenua, the same awa, the same mauri that raised her.

To witness that kind of full-circle love… it’s something special.
Thank you for trusting me to hold your story in these frames with your beautiful whanau.

Forever love in the valley 🤍♾️

My “office” looked a little different last night…

I had the privilege of being called in to capture some moments at the Clifton Fight & Fitness Club - Tama Tū Boxing Sparring Night Fundraiser.

What a beautiful kaupapa & community – watching the tamariki jump in with so much energy, guided and encouraged by the other members. The environment was nothing but positive, welcoming, and full of whanaungatanga.

Big mihi to the team at Clifton Fight and Fitness definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a strong, supportive space to grow for all ages 🥊📸

Wrapped in love, right at home 💛

These are the moments that matter, one brand new pēpi, fresh to the world, and the other newly promoted to big brother, bursting with laughter and light.
It’s always an honour to freeze time for beautiful whānau like this, capturing the love that lives in the quiet, everyday magic of home.

In sacred hands, a pounamu gleams,
sharpened by time, by whakapapa dreams.
A pito cutter, heirloom stone,
severs the tie, yet binds us home.
From womb to world, from breath to sky,
a whisper of ancestors passing by.
Used once in love, then resting near,
a taonga born of birth and care.
Not just a tool—but memory’s thread,
linking the living to those long dead.

Beneath the harakeke’s rustling sigh,
Muka fibres gently lie.
Soft as lullabies on baby skin,
woven with grace, healing within.
No plastic clamp, no foreign hold,
just nature’s warmth in flaxen gold.
Kakahu won’t catch, no harsh embrace,
just tender ties, a peaceful place.
Antibacterial, kind, and free
for earth, for pepi, for legacy.
