Mothers’ love. 💕

A little snippet from an incredible home session in Hāwea.

I love photographing families in their own home environment. There’s something about being in a space that already feels familiar that makes sessions more relaxed, intimate and natural.

I get to follow children around as they show me their favourite things, watch them play in the spaces they know photographing what makes your family yours.

For children especially, home is their safe space. Having me come to them, can make having their photo taken feel just that little bit less scary and a whole lot more fun. 🤍

📕 Chapter one of Charm and Sam:
Honestly when I laid eyes on these two I was obsessed. The leather jacket, big yes, charms pink and purple hair, their jewellery honestly the whole vibe!
Chapter one shows just how effortlessly cool these two are.

I've created a blog, I’m calling it "The Journal." My first post is on Harry and Emily's elopement earlier this year. I feel so honoured to have photographed their beautiful day and would love you to head over and read about it.
Click on the link in my bio to read about their elopement in Queenstown this past summer.

Six months since I committed to taking my photography seriously, and I feel like I'm finding my feet.
Since then I've been slowly piecing it together. The brand, the style, the feeling I want people to associate with my work.
A huge part of that has been the people I've gotten to work with. Mackenzie at .nz has been patient and thoughtful in helping me define the brand I want to be known for. And getting in front of the camera myself with the incredibly talented was one of the best investments I could make. Putting myself in my clients' shoes is something I think every photographer should experience.
What I'm loving most about this work is the people. Making someone feel at ease in front of a camera, watching two people so in love with one another, there's nothing quite like it. And that feeling when a gallery delivery lands and the reply comes back telling me what they loved most? That's adrenaline. Every time.
This work lets me lean into every creative corner of my brain and connect with people who see the world the same way I do.
So hi, I'm Natalia. Thank you for being here and for your support it means a lot. See you on the other side of the camera 😉

With autumn leaves still clinging to the lake edge, and the first sightings of the winter inversion layer over Lake Wānaka, it was the perfect morning to get down to the water and create. Wrapping up in the most beautiful woolen blanket from . Their ‘Kaimanawa’ blanket has been with me constantly as the cold has set in. Always in the car for warmth over the leather seats, and even coming along to shoots. Gifted, and genuinely obsessed. 🍂
