Four trips to Bali later, I finally experienced Balinese dance and gamelan live.

I’ve wanted to witness this for the longest time, and it was even more captivating in person. The vivid colours, ornate costumes, expressive movements, and the sheer intricacy of it all. Every detail felt intentional, every glance and gesture full of meaning.

And the gamelan… it didn’t just fill the space, it moved through me. Reverberating, rhythmic, almost trance-like.

Beautiful, vibrant, and unforgettable.
