What can I say, Australia. The weather held out, the people were welcoming and beautiful, and having the opportunity to photograph Hayley & Angus’ wedding in Port Stephens was absolutely epic. You might remember these two from a while back with a cracking surprise proposal at Ho**er Lake, Mt Cook. So I was super grateful when the invite came out to book flights and spend their wedding day with them as well!

Heaven Gardens was a seriously cool wedding location, boardwalks around a water feature, incredible gardens and all in one venue with a well kitted reception room right on site. Nerves were on as it seemed like months of rain had soaked the region, but we got the weather window 🤙🏻

One for the books that I won’t be forgetting!

This one will stay in our memories forever ❄️ When we say we’ll plan an adventure elopement, we mean it! Hui Li & Andrew braved the -6°c temps and the 50cm of fresh snow to get some incredible photos and ultimately have an unforgettable experience trekking from Lake Tekapo across to Lake Pukaki for their ceremony. An absolute dream team to make it all happen too.

Often the weather here in New Zealand likes to throw curveballs. As much as we navigate around it, sometimes we have to embrace it. Mizuki & Naoto took this in their stride, ready for their excursion to Lake Pukaki before sunrise. Absolute champions with smiles on as the wind picked up across the lake during their shoot. Good news is, we got everything finished before the rain began to pour. Massive thanks again to for the incredible planning!
