It was fun to photograph the new electric cargo plane Air New Zealand is trialing. It took these shots for Wellington Airport alongside the Air NZ team. Will be interesting to see how the plane fares. I like the fact that the Cook Strait crossing was the route chosen. Nice and bold move to choose such a symbolic and unforgiving stretch of water.

I was photographing the Wellington qualifier on the weekend and got this image from above of one of the competitors reactions. To me it summed up the joy of doing a great Manu.

Our contractors Downer NZ are getting underway on the site of a planned new Wastewater storage tank, pump station and associated infrastructure just north of the Porirua Railway Station. 🛠

When complete, this work will help reduce untreated water overflowing from the network into the local stream and coastal waters during heavy rainfall events.

A really cool introduction to the history of Transmission Gully as we know it now - one of my photos got used in this recent post. Great to see the advancements in transmission in NZ - its the way to continue our journey of decarbonising.
