It was a fantastic day in the sun, and was absolutely awesome to see everyone supporting each other, from trainers and friends riding through as team, to having the crew on foot for support! A massive thank you to the organisers, course designer, and volunteers for putting on such an awesome day of sport! And of course a huge thank you to the pole pickers to keep the day running!

📸🐴 MODEL CALL | Black Background Equine Portraits

​I am looking to expand my portfolio into fine-art, black-background equine portraiture and am seeking 5 horses in the Greater Wellington Region for a complimentary photoshoot.

​What I’m looking for:

📷 The Setting:* Access to a dark stable doorway, an indoor arena, or a deep barn/shed. This is essential for creating that signature "inky black" backdrop.
🐴 The Horses:** All breeds and colors are welcome—they can be plaited or natural! Whether it’s a classic kiwi bush pony or a competition warmblood, I’m happy to provide guidance on what look suits your horse best.

✨️ ​What you receive ✨️
In exchange for your time and the use of your facility, you will receive 1 high-resolution digital image, with the option to purchase more from a private gallery.

👇 ​To apply: Please comment below or PM me with a photo of your horse and a quick snap of your barn/stable entrance!

​*Doorways need to be at least double-door width to capture the whole horse safely and allow plenty of room for the handler.
**Horses must be clean. While I can make minor adjustments in post-production, dust and dirt are very visible in this high-contrast style, so a good groom is essential!
