My grandson had great fun in his gumboots on the mudflats turning every rock looking for crabs, but they were too quick for him and he never found one. I was excited to show him these photos - that there were indeed crabs and that the Kingfisher had caught one. He was not as impressed as I expected. Rather, he was upset for the crab that become lunch for the Kingfisher!
