Gosh its been a while since I have been on here. I have been meaning to post photos of this family. A present for the patriarch of the family, this extended family portrait session was filled with lots of laughing, ordering, planning, awwwing and more laughing. Was neat to see all these peeps come together and record this time, and very cool to see their whole group framed in a large rustic rimu timber frame 😍

So this was an interesting shoot. Miss Hazel thought this shoot was a stupid idea, and wouldnt have a bar of it. Everything her parents tried led to her either crumpling up on the ground crying, or running away. Was actually a disaster! Was glad my client was Anna, someone I know (who happens to have the best Chiropractic clinic in Whakatane - Eastern Bay Chiropractic), who just laughed with me and agreed that this was just one of those things. Ironically I have photographed Hazel many times and she is always perfect, so I guess she had some balancing out to do. Collage is a good summary of the morning, followed by a few photos that were actually nice lol.

So I have been asked to do Christmas photos for the Riverslea Night Market, and I thought why not, that sounds fun! So next Friday November 11th, I will be at Riverslea Mall from 2pm-7.30pm with my plain white backdrop. Dress up in Christmas outfits, or wear "year round" outfits, its up to you. Individuals $20, Siblings (incl up to 3) $40, Families $50. One photo, I choose it and email it to you :-)

I just handed over the prints to this gorgeous family. Another shoot done on a beautiful sunny morning. Two gorgeous kids with very different quirky personalities and two absolutely lovely parents who were very easy to talk to. These are going to look so nice on the wall, I never get sick of this job

Jenny had the brilliant plan to photograph this extended family when everyone was in the same place for the birthday of the beautiful Matriarch of the family. Was such a treat to see such a family all together in one spot, and we got VERRRRRY lucky with the weather that day!

Here's Nashi and James on their farm on a freezing cold morning, I loved the fog in the background but the thing that impressed me the most was I was in about 5 layers and was freezing, and Nashi & James were in t-shirts and didnt even have goosebumps, I didnt know that kind of hardiness was possible haha.
