I had the absolute honour of capturing Jodie and Kenneth’s wedding on Waitangi Day, and what a truly beautiful, emotional day it was.

These two first met in school, and like so many great love stories, life took them on their own journeys before bringing them back together. When they reconnected later in life, it didn’t take long for them to realise they were always meant to be. The kind of love that feels familiar, steady, and completely certain.

One of the most special moments of the day was Jodie’s first look with her sons. It was raw, heartfelt, and filled with so much love that I found myself tearing up behind the camera. Witnessing and capturing moments like that is such a privilege — the quiet pride, the emotion, the unspoken bond between a mother and her boys.

From start to finish, their day was overflowing with love, meaning, and genuine connection. Jodie and Kenneth, thank you for trusting me to document such an important chapter of your story. Your love is something truly special 🤍

Bailee & Hayden chose to say I do surrounded by the most beautiful greenery and ferns, on land that means so much to their loved ones. It was heartfelt and completely them — relaxed, meaningful, and full of so much love.

Their two gorgeous girls were such a special part of the day, a true reflection of the incredible parents Bailee & Hayden already are. Watching this little family officially become The Watsons was something really special 🥹

It was wholesome in every sense of the word — happy tears, big smiles, and the kind of love you can feel just standing near them.

For the longest time, I’ve been the one behind the camera — quietly capturing love, connection, and real moments. After almost three years in business, it feels well overdue to finally step into the frame.

I’m Rochelle, the face behind Ever lasting Photography. I’ve always had a love for photography, but it wasn’t until three years ago that I decided to turn that passion into a career, and I haven’t looked back since.

As a mother, I understand just how quickly life changes and how fleeting moments can be. That perspective shapes the way I photograph — whether it’s a wedding day, growing family, or a moment in between. Freezing time, even briefly, so those memories can be treasured forever is what drives everything I do.
