First festival shoot at AUM ✨
I definitely spent more time living in the moment than behind the camera, but I’m surprised with how much I still managed to capture.
This was also the first time putting my new lens to the test, learning its quirks in real time, mistakes and all. I missed focus on a few shots along the way, but it’s all part of the process and has only made me more excited to keep improving.
Somewhere in the chaos I accidentally shot in JPEG instead of RAW 😩 meaning a little less flexibility and quality than I’d normally aim for, but it forced me to get creative in post and learn new editing approaches.
Plus my first time ever shooting fire spinning 🔥 so much fun to experience and capture.

Next time, more crowd shots, more movement, more people.
Still finding my confidence photographing strangers, but excited to keep pushing myself there 🤘🏻💫
