July 2024 - A 2 hour drive (on-road then off-road once you enter the park) from home to get to the rainbow falls carpark. We Hiked to these spots for the day. For a grade 4 walking track, it felt like a grade 5 with a recurring knee injury 😅 The cold freshwater was a relief for my aching joints though. The challenge was climbing the steep steps on the way back 🤣

Spent the cold morning anticipating the sun to show itself but it got covered in clouds. But a little more time it showed its power through those dark clouds. I explored a couple of perspectives of cooee bay and wreck point lookout with my 35mm and 27mm on the fujifilm. I managed to get something different that maybe no one had captured, so i think my job was done. Nothing special, just maybe slightly out of the ordinary.

I have come to a realisation that every time i pick my camera up to shoot, the less I want to deal with editing raw files. Maybe it’s because I’m aging as I start a fresh chapter on my book 🤣 I’ve come to appreciate the simplicity of just really “taking” photos. So thanks fujifilm. These are straight jpegs out of the camera.
