Why wouldn't you do dinner and a show?

The first time I enjoyed Tepenyaki was at Tokyo Tarro, and it was the first time I experienced Japanese cuisine. I was probably 8 and I remember being so fascinated with the way the chef cooked the food while juggling everything that it still stayed in my mind years later!

Now, Japanese food is something I can never say no to! And I'm lucky enough to have an awesome chef that knows how to make a show out of a meal!

One of my favourite things to cook is chicken katsu.

It's simplicity doesn't detract anything away from its delicious flavours.

My wife likes her Katsu with plum sauce, and I like mine with Japanese spicy curry....whats your katsu way?

Throwback to the first ever food shoot that I ever did....this was the shoot that really made me realise that food photography is the type of photography that I want to pursue.

Since then, I stopped taking on every assignment that came my way, and focused on food. Working on restaurant menus and social media photography is still my favourite kind of projects.

Tacos, arepas, burritos.....anything Mexican is basically an instant favorite of mine! One thing I miss about living in big cities is the variety within Mexican food that I used to be able to stuff myself with!

Ribs for me have always been a bbq day out kinda meal....I never thought ribs could look so upscale and taste so...well gourmet.

Smokey, succulent and full of that bbq flavor, a plate of ribs can still look like a 5 star affair.
