Often, the call of the Slaty-tailed Trogon gives it away; other times, you have to constantly look up and observe the shapes of the jungle, which sometimes blend in with the leaves. Although it has red on its chest, its colors generally blend with the vegetation, especially if it's perched in the shade. Luckily, this particular bird was receiving some sunlight.

The White-vented Plumeleteer is one of the most common hummingbirds in the rainforest.
They are generally seen in mid-sized trees, so it's common to see them above us.
They are not hummingbirds you'll see in gardens or at feeders around houses, so if you want to see them, you have to visit the rainforest.

This charming spectacled caiman can be found in the lakes of the City of Knowledge.
