The beginning of the protests.
On December 6, the “Combative Secondary” movement held a protest in San Martin Square, about twenty schoolchildren wearing joker masks gathered and organized to paint and write slogans on banners.

Claim.
They demand an improvement in infrastructure management, and modernization in the training of teachers in charge of public education in Peru, they also demand that the fare of the school ticket is again of S / .0.50 cents in all transports, since today in day they pay S / 1.25 to be transported in the Metropolitan of Lima and its corridors. They also emphasize the deficiency of the National School Food Program Qali Warma, expressing their dissatisfaction with regard to its health.
They are not alone
The demonstration of the student movement called around 200 Protestants who raised their voices in the Plaza San Martín.
A score of students of primary and secondary level accompanied by their parents, started everything and when it seemed that no one would fold, a large group of young university students of the PUCP, known private university of Lima, who carried posters and the well-known masks appeared unexpectedly of the joker.
Another group from the prestigious UNSMSM University was present, so armed with the impetus of youth, banners and posters began their protest.
The meeting with the authority
The National Police then decided to proceed with the repression and hit the protesters with tear gas as they headed to the Central Station of the Metropolitan of Lima. It should be noted that on this occasion they were accompanied by their parents, children between 8 and 11 years of age also receiving the impact of tear gas.
With outrage as fuel the clash with the police authority was inevitable. Hundreds of young people did not understand how a fair claim would cause such repression. At that time an apprenticeship would be carried out that is not taught in the classroom.

December 18, not only had to do with school claims, but also workers' unions, Pro feminist groups, leftist groups, more universities and more schoolchildren were raising their voices.
